Nets manages, develops and hosts the system "NemLog-in" supporting Public key infrastructure (PKI) for authorisation of access and digital signing for all danish citizents vs. public authorities and organisations. The system also works as the backend system for MitID.

Project: Implementing Deployment tool and deploy pipeline for NemLog-In

 

                                                         Michael was responsible for the establishing of the Deploy Pipeline for Continuous Deployment of new releases of NemLog-In. The implementation spanned several large applications and systems across a complex server environment. With his team of DevOps technicians Michael also managed the continuous optimization and automation as well as Release Management of 3 Major releases to the system. Michael was throughout the project responsible for all technical activities across a multi-vendor setup where the majority of the solution was hosted by a 3rd party.

Project: Restructuring and modernizing Network and IT infrastructure   

 

                                                         As a Technical Project Manager Michael took over the finalization a large 3-year infrastructure project. The mission of the project was to replace the entire network in production sites in Denmark, France, and Ireland. The new dedicated and redundant network architecture was based on Cisco equipment, completely separating office networks from manufacturing networks.

Pharmaceutical companies must integrate along the supply-chain and automate the exchange of data, in order to support the end-end process of production, packaging, logistic and warehouse services related to track and trace. Several systems (3+ tier stack) on both sides must be integrated using middleware and applying industry standards.

                                                         Project: Consolidating and migrating IT systems for fertility treatment ambulatory

In relation to the roll-out of "Sundhedsplatformen" it was decided that all the IT systems of the departments of Fertility Treatment should consolidate on one IT system and integrate to SP. The system takes care of all registrations related to fertility and the handling of data and samples in the laboratory

 

It got decided that "DMDC Journal (Formatex)" that was already used on Herlev/Glostrup Hospital should be used on Rigshospitalet and Hvidvore Hospital also. The project should ensure the implementation of the new system and the migration of data from their previous system.

                                                         Michael started his own business to build a product for optimizing waiting time in queues in hospitals, public service and retail. The product was designed and developed in collaboration with a team of developers in India and a Danish CTO. The product successfully launched in May 2015. Among the customers were Copenhagen Airport.

                                                         Starting in a consultancy role, Michael continued taking up the responsibility of managing the operation and development of critical 24/7 pharma systems. At first for the Danish Pharmacies, and then for a portfolio of quality assurance and business intelligence systems for Novo Nordisk.

In November 2012 Michael took up the responsibility as head of the strategic operational excellence program for two years. Via the managers of departments and teams in the division Michael was ensuring that every department and team had clear mission statements and KPI’s. Michael was also in charge of making implementing proper standards and tools for continues improvement. Referring to the CVP Michael was also championing vital divisional KPI’s at weekly board meetings and quarterly management meetings.
